The Snob on GST and For The Love of God BAC

The Caffeine Snob
I would like to thank every single reader out there more so to those who took the time to email The Snob at thecaffeinesnob@gmail.com

Hai Snob,
Your website is very different from other bloggers which I find informative and entertaining. My question is what your take is on the recently imposed GST and would it affect the number of patrons to cafes?
-Shafique

For one, it is a matter of greed for business owners to impose a 6 per cent on top of a close to 80 per cent of profits from every cappuccino sold. This doesn't bother me as much as the coins I'll be getting as change with massive tip jars staring at me which got me thinking, why don't they just do the honours to round it up to the next ringgit. This way, they would hopefully give a portion of that to deserving hardworking employees and save me the trouble of carrying any shillings.

To answer your question, it will for a period of time as mere mortals are forgetful beings but not the Snob.

Dear Snob,
I have been to Battery Acid Club and the reason for that is they have a different concept on a cafe and I live two streets away. I agree with you on their furniture not being the most comfortable. Plus their coffee is so-so and the people working there are constantly frowning but do you think your take on BAC is a little harsh?
-Michelle

As harsh as it is true The Snob is more than prepared for a return whenever the bunch of designers at BAC are ready to welcome patrons with genuine warmth and brew a cup of proper coffee instead of constant blabbering on which font will be chosen to be in their next logo.
