"Ye Old Days"
Artisan and The Snob have gone a long way back when it was one of the better cafes in town. Although a renovation for this place is long overdue, it still is the place to go for Red Latte. There I was sipping their glorified Flat White (at RM11). This gave me a glimpse of my younger self chaperoning this very store in an air cooled 911. This place is like how The Snob remembers it to be, colonised by incognito work-from-homers with their laptops turned away from public.
As I took a walk down memory lane, I noticed something painful to the eyes. A patron came by inquiring the procedure of buying cakes in bulk and with little thought process the lady rebuffed him with a shake on the head followed by a depressing no.. The man then politely excused himself and moved on to another store, probably. What cannot go unnoticed was how she handled her subordinates with yelling. Not only did I find it dreadfully distasteful and shocking in the faces of other guests that it sprung to my curiosity to learn her name which in fact rhymes with man. The decision made by the proprietors of this establishment to hire her is certainly beyond The Snob.
There is certainly not much to critique her coffee-making skills but an angry face without a care for the world but her iPhone is no way to manage a business.
