"Home wreckers can only go so far"
Of all the hidden bars and cafes, Addiction could very well win the trophy for the term hidden. It has got the strangest entrance of any coffee house I have ever been to. Coffee with Farmhouse milk being priced at a reasonable 10 ringgit. As for waffles at give or take RM 18 are paired with fruits that are of quality. Despite that, anyone with sight will notice where money has been skimped from lack of passion for the establishment.
No complaints for their coffee but in order to be remotely outstanding, coffee houses has got to up their antics otherwise they'd be very much one dimensional. Pulp is the perfect example of high coffee horology whereby the establishment puts several blend offerings. In order to be the absolute best, the company would have to go through ordeals and break tradition.
Despite that, Addiction deserves their place on the radar and I'm all for humble beginnings that does the fundamentals well instead of condoning to phoney marketing campaign *coughs* EatDrink since that only demonstrates the lack of talent and worst of all, laziness. An overhaul on décor, a tasteful set of playlist will send Addiction on the right path and oh that logo is entirely hideous.
